Location was excellent, walking distance to Oxford street or 2 minutes walk to nearest tube station. Also right on the entrance to Hyde Park which was lovely for a stroll. Hotel was clean and tidy, the room was great we booked a standard double and suited us for our trip, it was even more spacious than we anticipated. The bathroom was a little dated but again clean and the shower was hot and good water pressure. Beds & pillows were a little hard for my personal comfort but I am fussy and would probably suit the masses. Breakfast was good, basic full English available on buffet style, with pastries (mini so you could have a couple guilt free) toast, jams/marmalade and fruit as well as juices and tea/coffee. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and chatty. Stella made our stay from the moment we checked in, it was my daughter’s 16th birthday and she ensured the room had balloons and chocolate and a little card from the hotel. Thank you Stella and all the staff we’ve loved London and staying at the Corus hotel.

We arrived quite early for our stay, with the intention of dropping off our luggage before heading to our reservations and when we arrived the lady on the front desk was AMAZING ! She greeted us with a big smile and warm welcome. We chatted about our plans and why we were there and she managed to get us checked in before 11am !! Which was brilliant... she also surprised my Fiancée with a little box of chocolates for her birthday which we were celebrating. The room was lovely and clean in a nice quiet part of the hotel. We had breakfast inside the hotel the following day and were seating with a fantastic sunny view ! They let us keep our luggage at the hotel after we checked out so we didn't have to carry it with us until phr train home that evening.

The hotel is in excellent location with easy public transport access and also attractions within walking distance and a beautiful park on the doorstep. The reception and staff are great. Room is a bit dated with old carpets. I took my 75 yrs old aunt to visit London and she loved the hotel, everything about it. There is even a small ironing board with iron in the room. None of the negative points below affected her. I would choose something more modern myself however considering the price and location I would stay again. They also let you store luggage after heck out.

The first night they put us in a very small room with poor mattresses and we had trouble flushing the toilet. The staff was kind enough to move us up to an executive suite which was lovely and large. They are in the process of redoing the hotel so we expect all the rooms to be better in the future. They have redone the elevators which now accelerate the process of getting up and down. It’s our 6 th stay. We love the location across from Hyde Park and the Italian garden. With the Lancaster Gate underground about a 2 minute walk. The staff was kind and accommodating

The staff during our stay were great, especially those working on the breakfast, always quick to serve and weren't overbearing. Breakfast in itself was also great, with there being plenty of options whilst remaining relatively simple. With many tube stations nearby, it proved easy to get to where you needed to be at any time. Lancaster Gate is only round the corner and a little further away is Paddington station so the location for the hotel was excellent. Beds were comfortable and overall a positive stay.
